About Circle of Sisterhood

 

Circle of Sisterhood Foundation is a philanthropy that unites all sorority women in the Panhellenic Community.  This Foundation gives all sorority women an opportunity to give back to another philanthropy aside from their own.  Sorority women know what it means to give back and make a difference in their own community and the world.  Sororities also know what it means to fight for an education.  In the 19th Century, the founders of the sororities had to fight for their education while establishing the values and purpose of their individual organizations.   

 

Circle of Sisterhood Foundation believes in better lives for women with educations.  The Foundation stives to knock down barriers that keep women from an education no matter the location.  Their hope is to use sorority women to help uplift women from poverty to a good education.

 

What does Fresno State Panehellenic do for Circle of Sisterhood?

 

Fresno State Panhellenic collects money through Greek Week of Service.  Spring 2015 we raised nearly $2,000 for Circle of Sisterhood with the help of the Panhellenic sororities and the IFC Fraternities.  

 

This upcoming Fall 2015 semester, the College Panhellenic Council will be hosting an event on campus as well as a Service Workshop for women interested in going through Recruitment on September 17th at 6pm in Room USU 312-314.
